Doug signed us up for our first family race last weekend. We borrowed a double stroller, got up early, and headed into Corning. When we got there, we found out we had three flat tires and that the race was an obstacle course. But nothing was going to stop Doug. And thank goodness because the stroller weighed over 60 lbs.
It ended up being a ton of fun. Eric begged and begged us to run, so he got out of the stroller and ran the last quarter mile. It was so awesome. Everyone was clapping for him when he crossed the finish line. I think he ran for another 20 minutes afterwards he was so pumped up. I think he is ready for us to sign him up for his own race!
The current deal...1 skittle for every pee, 1 lollipop for every poop. Last night was our first lollipop, but was a huge step for our little man. He was so incredibly proud of himself.
