Lessons in Jedi Mind Tricks

The nightly story times with Dad have turned into Jedi mind trick lessons.
May the force be with you!

Practicing for School

At Eric's 2 year visit, the Doctor told us we should be encouraging him to dress himself more. Well, this one he picked out all by himself, including the no pants option! ;O)

Eric for President?

I was literally only gone for 20 minutes and I walked out on the patio to find this...Daddy and his friends hard at work teaching Eric the fundamentals of fraternity life in hopes that one day he will be elected President of his college fraternity. I can't imagine what would have happened if they would have had another 20 minutes!

Moos!

Eric, Sophia, and I went to our first dairy farm a few weeks ago. Pretty impressive experience actually. The farm we went to produces 1.2 tons of milk every 2 days. They ship it out to a plant in NY (Frigo I think) to make string cheese. We were there during milking, so we got to see a few rounds of cows come in the parlour to get milked. We also got to pet the calves. (Do you pet calves? Well, you know what I mean!)

But the highlight of the trip was the ice cream. Nothing like tying it all together. Cows make milk and milk makes ice cream! What more do you need to know?

Working...

Eric got a trimmer for his birthday from Pete and Kim Blake (one of his godparents). Night and day, he has been working ever since. We walked out of house a few nights ago and this was the ensemble he had put together (on his own)! There is no doubt...he is definitely a boy.

Happy Birthday!

Eric is still talking about his birthday, singing Happy Birthday, and asking for "Happy Cake". I guess that means he enjoyed his birthday week. But what kid wouldn't!? He was spoiled rotten by everyone and I am sure is still dreaming about all his new toys. We had both sets of grandparents in town, as well as a surprise guest, my Grandpa Ted from Michigan. We had alot of fun. Definitely a lot different from last year. He totally understood the whole concept from unwrapping presents, to singing Happy Birthday, and blowing out the candles. I can't wait until the next one!

Thanks to everyone that helped make this such a special birthday for Eric and for us!
