Well, we made it. Someone was definitely watching out for us. Our section of the plane was almost empty so we had plenty of room to move around and set up shop. The dollar toys were a big hit. The food was decent and the wine was even better. And everyone got 4 or so hours of sleep. Couldn't ask for anything more. One thing's for sure...I am sure glad I don't have to do that trip again anytime soon.
Now we just have the interesting task of trying to adjust 2 kids to a 13 hour time difference, while trying to get outside and introduce our new home to our kids.
Night 1 goes to the kids. Pia woke us all up at 4AM screaming "Eric!" Lovely.
However, after seeing the kids tonight, my prediction is that Night 2 will go to the parents. We shall see...
