However, little did we know that it was foreshadowing for what would come later that day when we got 2-3 inches of sewer water throughout the entire downstairs.
We are in the process of finishing the demolition and then will hopefully have contractors in next week to get our walls back up and carpet installed.
Until then, Eric is enjoying sleeping in the kitchen as he has easy access to milk if he gets hungry in the middle of the night!
Lessons learned?
1) Get a sewer rider on your homeowners insurance policy.
2) Don't let Eric play with goggles.

Even though it was the sign of disaster, he looks super cute. Maybe give him some sunscreen and sand toys to play with. Then you will go to the beach with Auntie!
